iPhone Development for Industrial Applications
Over the past 2 years the mobile technology industry has become laser focused on convergence. What does that mean? Ideally, if you can do 75% or better of your daily work tasks with a smart phone, why not? Convergence in the mobile industrial, retail, and commercial spaces means, a single device needs to be a:

With the introduction of the Apple iPhone, Decode Solutions saw an incredible opportunity to use the device for business and more specifically industrial applications.
The iPhones large screen and multi-touch navigation allows our developers to create applications that seamlessly connect workers to their real-time data.

Our participation in the Apple developer program allows Decode Solutions to produce applications that are distributed through Apples iTunes exchange. It also allows for Enterprise application deployment for corporate apps that are controlled and secure.
The SDK for the iPhone allows us to produce applications rapidly and make changes on the fly. The iPhone can parse, collect and access data. The industrial automation and lean manufacturing possibilities are endless.

We integrate to a variety of systems including cameras, LED Signage, conveyors, RFID, industrial tooling, PLCs, and data bases to help businesses lean their processes and extract specific data from automated reports. We also sell various hardware including cameras, barcode scanners and printers, 2-way business radios, andon (messaging systems), stacklights, and LED signage (timers, counters & message boards.)
